We have developed a number of guides to help children of different ages with alopecia and their parents.
These guides are not the 'finished product' and are still in development. But these things can take time and rather than wait for them to be designed and finalised - which we will work towards by the end of 2017 - we want children and parents to be able to benefit from the content we have so far pulled together.
We very much welcome any feedback about these resources and are keen to include new content should anyone wish to make suggestions. In particular, we would very much welcome some quotes from children to be included in any of the guides or tips from adults with alopecia who lost their hair as a child.
If you have any feedback or suggestions, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will also be developing a Schools Pack in due course.
Ben's First Day
We also have developed a short rhyming story book called 'Ben's First Day' which describes a the first day at school of a young boy with alopecia. The booklet is available for the cost of P&P from our eBay store here. We're thrilled that we have distributed over 1,000 copies already.
And we're also pleased to confirm that further similar story booklets are in production and we hope to have them available in Autumn 2017.
Wigs - Little Princess Trust
A charity called the Little Princess Trust will provide one free wig to children and young people up to the age of 24.
