Newbie

I'm new to this forum and thought I'd introduce myself. 

I'm a 19 year old student currently studying at Uni. My alopecia started back in September and has just got progressively worse since then. It began to fall out behind my ears and now effects most of my hair apart from the top of my head. I was wondering if anyone had had a similar experience with this? 

My dad also has alopecia so I know my chances of getting full hair regrowth are pretty limited. But was just wondering if anyone knew the statistics behind full hair regrowth? 

I was referred to one dermatologist who has then passed me onto another dermatologist. So far nothing has helped and my hair is still falling out slowly each day.

Any responses would be much appreciated.
